Tips for a Great Shower

So you’re planning a baby shower and you know you’ll be having favors for the guests. Baby shower favors are a reminder for the guest of the fun they had at the party. Here are a few tips to giving memorable shower favors.

1. Send out the baby shower invitations a month or so prior to the shower so you can get an accurate head count for favors. It’s always a good idea to have extra favors on hand in case unexpected guests arrive. It can make for an awkward situation if you don’t have enough favors for everyone.

2. You can pass the favors out at the door when they arrive or have them displayed on a table. Adding a gift tag with the guest’s name is a nice touch and lets the guest know it was made especially for them. You can also give them to the guests as they leave, thanking them for attending and celebrating the baby on the way.

3. Everyone loves to receive gifts. And even though baby shower favors are meant to be a small token gift, don’t feel you have to go over the top and spend a lot of money on them. Favors are simply a remembrance of the celebration.
