The location and availability for a given venue will influence your shower date and guest list, so think about the where well in advance. Also consider that while your home may be convenient and inexpensive shower site for you, the location may be inconvenient for many of your guests, who may be forced to travel far. If that's the case, consider a more central location.

While restaurants and clubs are obvious party spots, don't hesitate to try something different, like a day spa, bed and breakfast and so on. Try to find a place that will create the right ambiance for the shower or that offers an activity that your guests will enjoy.

For some, the selection of a beautiful baby shower location is more important than the number of guests it will accommodate. Others prefer to know how many guests will attend before deciding on a location. If the weather is good, a garden, terrace, or even a park or beach would make a nice location for a large gathering.
